How the site works
Every trivia page holds two things at once: a game you can play, and the full list of questions with the answers written out. Use the game to test yourself. Use the list when you are running a quiz night and need the answers on paper. The print layout drops the game and keeps the sheet, with the answer key on its own page.
The same questions drive four modes. Multiple choice is the default. True or false turns each question into a single claim to judge. Sixty seconds is a sprint against the clock. Daily gives everyone the same ten questions until midnight and keeps a streak on your device.
Why the answers are explained
Most trivia sites stop at the answer. Every question here carries a line saying why it is right, and 202 of them have a full page: the reasoning, the history, and why the tempting wrong options are wrong. Knowing the answer wins the round; knowing why is what you keep.
Nothing on the site goes out of date on purpose. Records, current champions and anything with an "as of" in it are left out, so a quiz you print this month is still right next year.
Frequently asked questions
Is everything free?
Yes. There is no account, no paywall and nothing to install. The site runs on a small number of ads placed away from the game.
How many questions do I need for a quiz night?
Five rounds of ten is the usual shape. The Quiz Night Kit builds and prints that for you from any mix of topics, with a separate answer key.
Can I use the questions in a classroom or a pub?
Yes. Print any topic page or build a kit. The questions are checked for accuracy and written to stay true, so a printed sheet does not expire.
How do the question games differ from trivia?
Question games have no right answers. You draw a prompt and talk. They are for the part of the evening when nobody wants a scoreboard.
